Duties to Include:
Must have a minimum of 2 years of Illinois Workers Compensation Claims Adjusting experience. Investigate, evaluate, dispose, set reserves and manage claims with supervision. Exercise proper judgment and decision-making to analyze the claims exposure to determine the proper course of action to appropriately settle the claim. Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process. Handle claims consistent with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and "best practices" and also in accordance with any statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements. Document and communicate all claim activity timely and effectively and in a manner that supports the outcome of the claim file. Incumbents at this level should be able to work at full caseload capacity. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
