What You'll Do as a Woodworking Finisher:

  • Prepare, stain, & finish custom cabinets and wood components.
  • Apply hand-finished coatings, including stains, sealers, and topcoats.
  • Inspect finished pieces to ensure quality, consistency, and shop standards.
  • Maintain finishing equipment and keep the finishing area clean and organized.
  • Follow established finishing processes and assist with other shop tasks as needed.

 

Our Ideal Woodworking Finisher:

  • Experience: Background in cabinetry, woodworking, or finishing; experience using spraying equipment is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented: Pays close attention to finish quality, consistency, and shop standards.
  • Reliable & Professional: Shows up on time, follows processes, and takes pride in doing the work right.
  • Self-motivated: Works independently, stays focused, and is willing to learn product details and finishing techniques.
  • Team Player: Collaborates well with others and supports the smooth workflow throughout the shop.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable with general computer use as needed.
  • Active: Able to bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 60 lbs.

 

What We Offer Our Woodworking Finisher:

  • $28-$30/hour, DOE
  • Full-time schedule, approximately 50 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 6:00 am-4:30 pm
